What the service is

PreLicensePrep provides practice questions and mock exams for state licensing examinations. It is a study aid. It is not a pre-licensing course, it does not satisfy any state education requirement, and it is not affiliated with any state licensing authority, commission, department, or examination vendor.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination. Exam content, passing standards, and licensing requirements are set by state authorities and can change without notice. We work to keep material current, but you are responsible for confirming current requirements with your state authority.

Not legal or professional advice

Questions and explanations describe how the law generally works for examination purposes. Nothing here is legal, tax, or professional advice, and nothing creates a professional relationship. For an actual transaction or licensing decision, consult a qualified professional.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Accounts are for one person. Sharing an account, or using one account to give several people access to paid material, is a breach of these terms.

Payment and cancellation

Paid access is billed at the price shown at checkout. You may cancel a recurring membership at any time and it will remain active through the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change, and we will give notice before a change affects an existing subscription.

Our content

The questions, explanations, and other material on this site are original works and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, or use them to build a competing product or to train a model, whether by automated means or by hand.

Automated access, bulk downloading, and attempts to extract the question bank are prohibited and may result in your access being terminated without refund.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access accounts or data that are not yours. If you find a security problem, tell us rather than exploiting it. We respond to good-faith reports.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue paid features entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a failed examination, a delayed license, or lost income. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Ending access

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, including account sharing and bulk extraction of content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and material changes affecting paid members will be notified by email.
