What the service is

PreLicensePrep provides practice questions and mock exams for state licensing examinations. It is a study aid. It is not a pre-licensing course, it does not satisfy any state education requirement, and it is not affiliated with any state licensing authority, commission, department, or examination vendor.

No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination. Exam content, passing standards, and licensing requirements are set by state authorities and can change without notice. We work to keep material current, but you are responsible for confirming current requirements with your state authority.

Not legal or professional advice

Questions and explanations describe how the law generally works for examination purposes. Nothing here is legal, tax, or professional advice, and nothing creates a professional relationship. For an actual transaction or licensing decision, consult a qualified professional.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Accounts are for one person. Sharing an account, or using one account to give several people access to paid material, is a breach of these terms.

Payment and access

Paid access is a one-time purchase at the price shown at checkout, scoped to a single license and state. It grants full access to that material for a fixed period and then ends on its own. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Prices may change, but a change never affects access you have already bought.

Our content

The questions, explanations, and other material on this site are original works and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, or use them to build a competing product or to train a model, whether by automated means or by hand.

Automated access, bulk downloading, and attempts to extract the question bank are prohibited and may result in your access being terminated without refund.

Directory listings

The broker and candidate directory shows listings written by the people who post them. You are responsible for the content of your listing, including that it is accurate and that you are entitled to post it. We do not verify listings, and license numbers are shown as provided by the listing owner without verification. Check any brokerage, agency, or candidate with the state authority before you rely on a listing.

Listings must not express any preference or limitation based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, age, or any other protected characteristic, and must not contain spam, misleading claims, or contact details meant to bypass the site's messaging. We may hide, edit, or remove any listing, and suspend the account behind it, at our discretion and without notice. Listings expire 90 days after they are created or renewed.

A listing owner can pay to feature an active listing. Featuring is a one-time payment that places the listing at the top of its directory for 30 days and is marked as a paid placement. It is not a subscription and does not renew. If a featured listing breaks these terms, we may hide or remove it, and the remaining featured time ends without a refund.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access accounts or data that are not yours. If you find a security problem, tell us rather than exploiting it. We respond to good-faith reports.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we discontinue paid features entirely, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a failed examination, a delayed license, or lost income. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Ending access

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, including account sharing and bulk extraction of content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed, and material changes affecting paid members will be notified by email.
